Maine has a reputation for Boone and Crockett trophy racks, and the big 200-pound and above white-tail deer. The Patten area abounds with these big trophies in their natural habitat.

The Patten Hunting Lodge hold the state record for doe, at 180 lbs. Field-dressed. And Bill himself holds the lodge record for buck, field-dressed at 272 lbs. Our record of success proves we know where the big ones are.
