Elk hunting in Western Colorado . Trophy Elk hunts on a private elk ranch for  5 days. The hunts are  $8,000.00 dollars , average scores 350 sci to over 400's (no additional trophy fees ).

A  $ 2,000.00 deposit is required to book the hunt. The remainder of the cost of the hunt is to be paid after you harvest a Trophy bull elk of your choice .

This ranch is 5000 acres of aspen and oak brush 8200 ft. to 9500 ft in altitude. over 8 miles of high fence . It is a very large ranch .For anyone who is not sure about this hunt being in a high fence area I would just like to say that because this area has a lot of heavy cover and is a very large hunting area it can be quite a challenge.

On this elk hunt a hunter would expect to spend another $300.to $350dollars to have his harvest processed at the local butcher shop, tip for the guide $500to $600 dollars and his traveling expenses to and from colorado . I think this is one of the best trophy elk  hunts out west , last year we took 25 trophy bulls . 100% harvest in 2006
