Turkey hunting with Deer Creek Outfitters is without a doubt some of the best you will find anywhere! Just ask Wayne Carlton who endorses the hunt. He goes on numerous Turkey hunts every year and stated that this hunt was one of the West’s best Turkey areas! Our hunts take place in Douglas County, Oregon. This area has the highest population of Rio Grande Turkeys you will find in the state of Oregon and the population continues to increase in numbers from year to year.

Spring Turkey season will find us calling in numerous birds. Each client is allowed to take up to a total of 3 Turkeys in our area. All hunting is conducted on private ranches, therefore, the Turkeys are not pressured so you can sit back and enjoy the fun as we begin calling in the birds. You will hunt with professional guides who know how to get you that "Monster Tom" you are looking for! 8-10" beards are common in this area and we have had 95% success in past years harvesting birds. Last year, in the spring of 2001, one of our clients took the 4th largest Rio Grand turkey ever harvested in the state of Oregon, a triple bearded bird! Congratulations Chris Lytle!

We offer anywhere from one-day hunts up to five-day hunts for our Turkey. Your hunt will include a guide and a stay in our new bunkhouse. It sleeps up to six hunters and is fully equipped with kitchen, dining, lounge area, and of course bathroom with hot shower!
